I stayed at Days Inn for two nights and found the room clean, which was a plus. The bed was comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's rest. The location was convenient for my travels around Alpena, which I appreciated. However, the towels felt flimsy, almost like they were just one-time use. The bathroom fan was extremely loud, and it didn’t help that it had a strange disinfectant smell each time I entered the room. I also noticed a lack of breakfast variety. Only waffles and eggs were available, and there wasn’t much else for those with dietary restrictions. Additionally, the doors to the outside felt insecure, which was concerning. I had asked for a handicapped room due to my walker, but the room they provided still had a high step, making it difficult to enter and exit. I expected better consideration for accessibility. Next time, I’d likely request a different room area or look elsewhere.

Clean and Comfortable Stay
I had a wonderful experience during my stay with clean and spacious rooms that featured comfortable beds. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area, and I particularly enjoyed the warm pool for a relaxing time with my kids. However, I would have liked a bit more variety in the breakfast options.

Recommend for exploring town
Comfortable room, convenient location, with a good selection at breakfast that could be improved by adding meat options, while the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable and the indoor swimming pool provided a nice way to unwind after a day of exploration.
Was all great.

The room was spacious and the bed felt like a fluffy cloud. Fresh, cold mini-fridge ready for my bubbly drinks! Towels soft enough to get lost in.
But dear, it was like a dog convention outside my wall at night! I thought I booked a hotel, not a canine bark-off.
